Services Performed
- The customer arrived with the temperature gauge reading at maximum hot. After allowing the engine to cool, we inspected the coolant level and found it to be within the proper range. A pressure test was performed, and no leaks were detected. We then ran the vehicle to evaluate the cooling system, including fan operation and thermostat functionality. During testing, all components functioned normally, and we were unable to identify any definitive issues at this time. We advised the customer that, as a proactive first step, replacing both thermostats and the coolant temperature sensor is recommended, especially considering the vehicle's age and the extended time since these components were last serviced.
