- Oil Condition Sensor. Performed a road test while monitoring live scan tool data and observed the engine oil level sensor parameter was below specifications. With the engine off, performed an inspection of the oil level using the engine oil dipstick and found the engine oil level was within the specified range. Inspected the engine oil level sensor wiring harness and connector, but detected no obvious faults. Used a multi-meter to check for the presence of voltage and ground at the engine oil level sensor and found both were present. Used a lab scope to backprobe the engine oil level sensor signal wire and observed the engine oil level sensor signal was not present.
