    • Confirmed the customer’s concern and verified that the check engine light was on and the engine was running rough. Connected a diagnostic scanner and retrieved trouble codes P0301 and P0302, indicating misfires in cylinders 1 and 2. Performed a visual inspection of tune-up components and noticed that the ignition coils for cylinders 1 and 2 were wet, suggesting a possible fluid leak. Upon further inspection, found that the heater hoses run directly above these components. To confirm the source of the leak, connected a cooling system pressure tester and applied pressure to the system. Observed that the heater hoses were leaking, indicating their inability to maintain proper pressure. To resolve the issue, both heater hoses (inlet and outlet) will need to be replaced, along with the two damaged ignition coils, which have been compromised due to coolant exposure.
    • BEGIN BY DRAINING THE COOLING SYSTEM TO PREVENT ANY COOLANT SPILLAGE DURING THE REPAIR PROCESS. CAREFULLY REMOVE ALL NECESSARY COMPONENTS TO GAIN PROPER ACCESS TO THE HEATER HOSES AND IGNITION COILS. PROCEED WITH THE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF BOTH THE INLET AND OUTLET HEATER HOSES, WHICH ARE THREE-WAY HOSE ASSEMBLIES. ENSURE ALL HOSE CONNECTIONS ARE PROPERLY SECURED TO PREVENT FUTURE LEAKS. NEXT, REMOVE AND REPLACE THE IGNITION COILS FOR CYLINDERS 1 AND 2, AS THEY HAVE BEEN DAMAGED DUE TO COOLANT EXPOSURE. VERIFY THAT THE NEW IGNITION COILS ARE CORRECTLY SEATED AND PROPERLY CONNECTED TO ENSURE OPTIMAL ENGINE PERFORMANCE. ONCE ALL COMPONENTS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED, REASSEMBLE ALL REMOVED PARTS AND MAKE ANY NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS TO ENSURE A PROPER FIT. REFILL THE COOLING SYSTEM WITH THE CORRECT ANTIFREEZE COOLANT MIXTURE AND PERFORM A THOROUGH SYSTEM BLEED TO REMOVE ANY AIR POCKETS. FINALLY, CONDUCT A COMPREHENSIVE TEST OF ALL AFFECTED AREAS, INCLUDING CHECKING FOR LEAKS, VERIFYING ENGINE PERFORMANCE, AND ENSURING PROPER IGNITION FUNCTIONALITY.

    • Confirmed the customer's complaint and found the air conditioning was inoperative. Performed a visual inspection of the air conditioning system components, and found no obvious faults. Connected air conditioning refrigerant manifold gauges to the refrigerant high and low service ports. Started the engine and switched the air conditioning to the max position with the blower motor fan on high. The pressures observed on the manifold gauges were below the specified value, which indicated a low refrigerant charge. Used an electronic leak detector, inspected for refrigerant leaks, and found none. The results of these tests verified the air conditioning refrigerant charge was insufficient. PERFORM A THOROUGH VACUUM OF THE A/C SYSTEM TO REMOVE ANY MOISTURE AND AIR THAT MAY HAVE ENTERED THE SYSTEM. ONCE THE SYSTEM IS FULLY EVACUATED, CHARGE IT WITH THE SPECIFIED AMOUNT OF REFRIGERANT TO ENSURE OPTIMAL COOLING PERFORMANCE. DURING THIS PROCESS, CHECK FOR ANY POTENTIAL LEAKS OR ISSUES THAT COULD AFFECT THE A/C SYSTEM'S EFFICIENCY. AFTER CHARGING, TEST THE SYSTEM TO CONFIRM THAT IT IS OPERATING PROPERLY AND DELIVERING COOL AIR EFFECTIVELY THROUGHOUT THE VEHICLE.

    • Confirmed the customer’s concern and found the vehicle stalled. Performed a visual inspection of the battery cables and connections, but found no obvious faults. Used a multi-meter to check for voltage across the battery terminals, and found the measured voltage was below specifications. Connected a battery charger, and charged the battery. Started the engine, used an alternator load tester to perform an alternator load test, and found the alternator failed the load test. Performed a visual inspection of the alternator wiring harness and connector terminals, but found no obvious faults. Used the multi-meter to check for battery voltage and ignition voltage at the alternator connectors, and found both were present. This indicated the alternator was faulty.
    • MAKE SURE ALL WIRES ARE INSERTED INTO PROPER CAVITIES. RE-ASSEMBLE BACK TOGETHER. CONNECT BATTERY. MAKE SURE ALL OTHER WIRES ARE HARNESSED PROPERLY. TEST ALL AFFECTED SYSTEM.
