- Confirmed the customer's complaint and found the engine idled rough. Inspected the air intake system and found no obvious faults. Inspected the fuel system and found no concerns. Connected a smoke machine to the air intake system, induced smoke into the system to check for leaks and found no smoke leaked. Performed a visual inspection of the throttle body and found excessive carbon buildup in the throttle body. – Customer acknowledged notice and gave oral approval of estimated repairs. REMOVE ALL NECESSARY COMPONENTS TO GAIN PROPER ACCESS TO THE THROTTLE BODY. ONCE REMOVED, THOROUGHLY CLEAN THE THROTTLE BODY, INCLUDING THE THROTTLE PLATE AND BORE AREA, TO REMOVE ALL CARBON BUILDUP, DIRT, AND DEBRIS THAT CAN AFFECT AIRFLOW AND IDLE QUALITY. ENSURE ALL PASSAGES AND MATING SURFACES ARE CLEANED TO MANUFACTURER SPECIFICATIONS. AFTER CLEANING, REASSEMBLE ALL NECESSARY COMPONENTS IN THE REVERSE ORDER OF REMOVAL, VERIFYING THAT ALL CONNECTIONS, CLAMPS, AND SEALS ARE PROPERLY SECURED. ONCE ASSEMBLED, START THE ENGINE AND PERFORM AN IDLE RELEARN PROCEDURE IF REQUIRED TO ENSURE OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE AND SMOOTH OPERATION.
- ENGINE OIL AND FILTER CHANGE – Drain old engine oil, replace oil filter, and refill with manufacturer-recommended oil to ensure optimal engine performance and longevity. TIRE INSPECTION AND INFLATION CHECK – Inspect all tires for wear, damage, and proper tread depth. Adjust tire pressure to the manufacturer’s recommended PSI for even wear and safe handling. BRAKE COMPONENT INSPECTION – Examine brake pads, rotors, and calipers for wear or damage. Check brake fluid
