- Confirmed the customer's complaint and found the TPMS was inoperative. Used a tire pressure gauge to measure the air pressure in each tire and found the measured tire pressures were within the specified range. Performed a road test, used a scan tool to retrieve sensor data from each tire pressure sensor and found a tire pressure sensor was not communicating with the scan tool. Removed the tire and wheel assembly, dismounted the tire, inspected the tire pressure sensor and found no obvious concerns. These tests verified the tire pressure sensor was faulty.
