- Confirmed the customer's complaint and found there was a squealing noise from the engine. Started the vehicle and used an electronic stethoscope to pinpoint the source of the noise to the drive belt. Removed the drive belt, performed an inspection of the drive pulleys, but found no concerns. Performed an inspection of the drive belt and found the belt was cracked, which caused the belt to make noise.
