- Confirmed the customer's complaint and found the engine ran rough. Performed a visual inspection of the engine bay and found no apparent damage. Connected a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail and found the fuel pressure was within the specifications. Connected a smoke machine, introduced smoke into the intake system to check for vacuum leaks, and found no vacuum leaks were present. Removed a spark plug wire, connected a spark tester, and found spark was present. Removed the spark plugs and found the spark plug electrodes were worn excessively and the gaps exceeded specifications.
- REMOVE ALL NECESSARY COMPONENTS. REMOVE AND REPLACE SPARK PLUGS. ASSEMBLE TOGETHER AND MAKE ALL NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS. TEST ALL AFFECTED AREAS.
