- Confirmed the customer's complaint and heard a humming noise from the vehicle. Performed a visual inspection of the tires for signs of abnormal wear, and found no faults. An inspection of the front brakes revealed no obvious faults. Rotating the wheel hub assembly, found roughness was present, which indicated the wheel hub bearings were faulty. The wheel hub bearings will need to be replaced with the wheel hub, and are replaced as an entire unit. With the vehicle back on the ground, repeatedly bounced the vehicle up and down while using a stethoscope to isolate the noise, and confirmed the noise came from the suspension strut. Also sway bar links are torn. Further more used a pry bar and found play in the inner suspension control arm bushings. Performed a visual inspection of the suspension control arm and found the suspension control arm was damaged.
