Performed a visual inspection of the air conditioning system components, and found no obvious faults. Connected air conditioning refrigerant manifold gauges to the refrigerant high and low service ports. Started the engine and switched the air conditioning to the max position with the blower motor fan on high. The pressures observed on the manifold gauges were within the specified value, which indicated a proper refrigerant charge. Used an electronic leak detector, inspected for refrigerant leaks, and found none. All necessary components in the AC system are functioning normally. However, based on the symptoms described by the customer, we believe it is possible that the blower motor or the blower motor resistor stops working once it becomes too hot after prolonged use. While replacing these two components may not definitively resolve the issue, it is a recommended initial step. The customer has agreed to proceed with this replacement, understanding the associated risks.
REMOVE ALL NECESSARY COMPONENTS TO GAIN ACCESS INSIDE THE CABIN OF THE CAR UNDERNEATH THE DASH BY THE GLOVE COMPARTMENTS. REMOVE AND REPLACE THE BLOWER MOTOR AND BLOWER MOTOR REGULATOR. REASSEMBLE AND MAKE ALL NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS. TEST ALL AFFECTED SYSTEMS.

Confirmed the customer's concern and found fluid leaked from the vehicle. Performed an inspection of the engine compartment and found the valve cover gasket leaked. Inspected the brake hydraulic system for leaks, but found none. Performed an inspection of the brake friction components, but found no faults. Performed a visual inspection of the brake fluid and found the brake fluid was contaminated with moisture. The results of these tests verified the brake fluid was faulty. Also found that the cabin air filter is dirty and will need to be replaced.
REMOVE ALL NECESSARY COMPONENTS TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE VALVE COVER. REMOVE THE VALVE COVER AND REPLACE THE VALVE COVER GASKET SET. ADDITIONALLY, REPLACE THE CABIN AIR FILTER, AS IT IS LOCATED IN THE SAME AREA BENEATH THE WIPER MOTORS. REASSEMBLE ALL COMPONENTS AND MAKE ANY NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS. TEST ALL AFFECTED SYSTEMS AND CHECK FOR LEAKS.
PERFORM A COMPLETE BRAKE FLUID FLUSH TO ENSURE OPTIMAL BRAKING PERFORMANCE AND REMOVE ANY CONTAMINANTS FROM THE BRAKE SYSTEM.
